Message from the President:

 

Ever since my undergraduate years, CSHP has consistently stood out to me as an organization rooted in passion, community, and service. I was inspired by each board’s dedication and relentless drive to support and uplift others. One experience that solidified my interest in CSHP was during my time on the Pre-Pharmacy Society (PPS) Board. I had the privilege of helping organize a collaborative initiative that allowed undergraduate students to shadow graduate-level labs. This opportunity not only enriched my understanding of CSHP’s mission but also inspired me to give back in the same meaningful way that CSHP had impacted me. 

 

During my first semester as a pharmacy student, I actively engaged in many CSHP events, including the Hospital IPPE/APPE Primer and Specialty Series. These events fueled my growing interest and made me realize the variety of opportunities that CSHP provides. I became increasingly motivated to contribute more directly to its ongoing success and legacy. That passion led me to run for president – to be part of what makes CSHP so impactful and continue the traditions that have shaped so many students before me. 

 

Looking ahead, my goals for this year are to increase membership and help CSHP thrive even more by expanding outreach, strengthening collaborations, and creating meaningful experiences for all members. I hope to engage students at all stages of their pharmacy journey, by offering programming that is both informative and inspiring.
