Koob Vang Memorial Scholarship 

On behalf of the CSHP Central Valley Chapter, we would like to present a scholarship opportunity to current CSHP members of the Pacific Chapter. We highly encourage you to apply.

 

The Koob Vang Memorial Scholarship was established in 2009 in honor of Koob Vang, a pharmacist leader whose ambition and devotion to family and patient care was an inspiration to the Stockton community. The annual scholarship is awarded to a Pacific student pharmacist who embodies the spirit of Dr. Vang – an enthusiastic, community-driven leader dedicated to service and humility. 

Scholarship Award: 

2 awards; $750 each

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Must be a current Pacific student pharmacist

  • Must be an active CSHP member in good academic professional standing 

​

Application Requirements:

  • Completed Scholarship Application (Here)

  • An updated curriculum vitae

  • A short essay (maximum 500 words) describing the applicant's interest in health-systems pharmacy

  • One letter of recommendation supporting the applicant's involvement in the health-systems pharmacy practice
